Well it looks like another round of congratulations is in order!

First of all we’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who entered our end of year survey in December. Some really interesting points came out of the survey results and we really enjoyed reading your New Year’s Resolutions – we hope you’ve been better at keeping your resolutions than we have!

Our four favourite resolutions each won a prize from Oxfam Unwrapped as a thank you for making us smile! Congratulations to:

David Cooper, who has vowed this year to beat his time of 3 hours in the London marathon and to find a permanent job. Here in the GAAPweb office we’re impressed by anyone who makes it down the gym for an hour a week so we thought that this remarkable achievement deserved our support. David won ‘safe water for 100 people’.

Justine O’Moore who has decided that 2008 will be the year she is better at everything she does, better at her job, better at her relationships and better at taking chances to live life to the fullest! We were all very impressed by Justine’s enthusiasm and positive attitude – sounds like 2008 could be her best year yet! Justine won our ‘build a bog’ prize.

Kudakwashe Magure who is intending to move up the career ladder and go abroad – as a job board we can’t help but support this one! Hopefully GAAPweb will be able to help you out there! Kudakwashe won our ‘teach a teacher’ prize.

Lucy who will be getting married this year (double congratulations then) has vowed to lose weight to fit into her wedding dress. Everyone at GAAPweb sends their best wishes and hopes it’ll be a wonderful day for you both! Lucy won 2 goats.

If any of you guys fancy winning a prize from Oxfam Unwrapped go take our latest survey now!

And while we’re on the subject of congratulations…

We’re giving ourselves a pat on the back for winning the PASS Magazine WEBlife award for Best Online Recruitment Company Website for the second year running as well as the award for Best Online Recruiter.
