The Target National
Graduate Recruiter Awards has named Deloitte as the best graduate finance and professional services employer.
Deloitte has taken the award from another Big 4 firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, which has won the honour for the previous three years.
Sarah Shillingford,
graduate recruitment partner at Deloitte, explained how the firm hires over 1,400 graduates and undergraduates each year.
"We are delighted to receive this recognition, which we believe reflects our continuous efforts to make Deloitte the country's top graduate employer," said Ms Shillingford.
The National
Graduate Recruitment Awards survey 30,000 students in the UK every year. The participants are requested to vote for their favourite choice in the finance and professional services industry.
Deloitte has also recently been given a Gold rating in the Sunday Times Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility Index.
The firm got the highest Platinum rating for workplace and the community, with a Gold rating in the environmental index.
