A Group Treasurer is required for a £6bn international organisation who are preparing for an IPO next year. Reporting directly to the CFO and managing a team, this is a highly visible role.
Key responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing the Group’s Treasury Strategy, from a strategic and day-to-day perspective
• Driving through improvements across Treasury operations
• Recommending hedges and other financial derivatives where appropriate
• Managing the firm's global cash resources to ensure optimal use and location of funds in all major operating currencies
• Maximising efficiency of the Group’s cash resources by pooling currencies
• Leading the relationships with key banking partners and external lenders
• Managing the Group’s credit ratings and the relationship with ratings agencies
The successful candidate will be ACT/ ACA qualified with a strong Treasury background, ideally with prior experience of operating in a complex, multinational environment. With outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and cross-functionally. You will be an inspiring director with the visible credibility and gravitas to challenge and influence.
