Finance Manager - Development to Financial Controller

50-60k + car, average salary pension, sharesave, premium health cover, life assurance and more
Our client is a large listed business with a worldwide turnover of around £14 billion. This acquisitive and growing business is currently looking to source an individual for a succession planning role as part of its large progressive UK team.
This opportunity will play a critical role in the delivery of both management and financial accounting to a growing business unit. Key deliverable's will include:
- Managing and developing a team of 5 Part qualified to newly qualified accountants
- Business partnering with key stakeholders
- Providing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Reconciliation of Control Accounts and Balance Sheets
- Delivering monthly, quarterly and year end forecasts / reports
- Producing, monitoring and investigating/advising in relation to budgets and forecasts.
- Preparation of VAT, PSA, TAX and statutory returns
- Prepare and submit weekly / monthly cash flow forecasts.
The ideal individual will be an ambitious qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong academics and a track record of achievement. This opportunity will give you the potential to become a senior business partner / controller within the next 2-3 years.AGY - Vitae Financial Recruitment
