With extensive experience in a Head of Finance/Finance Director role you are expert at delivering sound financial information to support successful executive level decision making. As Head of Finance we will look to you to give clear financial leadership to the organisation, develop a high performing team as well as develop and deliver an effective financial strategy. You will build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver accurate management information and financial input.
You will ensure we meet statutory obligations covering financial reporting, taxation and company/charity submissions as well as encourage employees to play their part in delivering sound financial management. You will drive best practice and maintain a finance system that guarantees we operate efficient and effective business processes that deliver sound financial stewardship.
Important too will be your leadership of our International Finance Transformation Programme which will see you working with peers across the international organisation to ensure global systems are fit for purpose.
Your impressive record in a similar Head of Finance role shows you have extensive experience of developing and implementing strategies, policies and processes to meet business needs. Well versed in charity related VAT and Tax matters, you are skilled at preparing statutory accounts and managing external audit processes.
Customer focused you are able to develop and implement robust internal financial controls as well as manage and support complex accounting systems. ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified you are experienced at cultivating high performing teams, developing plans and budgets and driving continuous improvement. Comfortable operating tactically you understand the importance of remaining strategic and not getting caught in the minutiae.
