Position: Senior Finance Manager – International Manufacturer
Marshall Moore are currently working on a new opportunity for a Qualified Accountant, within an international Manufacturing organisation as a Senior Finance Manager. The opportunity, based in Deeside, would be ideal for an ambitious accountant looking to take the next step into a senior role with an organisation where the can grow and develop their skills. For the successful candidate this opportunity provides significant progression potential and an impressive overall package.
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for:
• Management of all financial aspects of operations and all links to the UK
• Responsible for internal controls and business processes across the group
• Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems, as well as provide a high quality support service by liaising with management colleagues across the group.
• Monitor existing and recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented
• Responsible for International Tax and Customs and Duty processes.
• Managing a dedicated team of 3 accounts staff
Ideally you will have/be:
• Qualified accountant with more than 3 years PQE
• Strong German language ability ideal
• Strong technical Accountancy background
• Understanding of business processes
• Experience of Taxes in an International environment
• Experience in the area of Customs and Duty
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting in areas of responsibility
• Experience of working with ERP systems
• Exposure to German accounting and dealing with German authorities
