Financial Reporting Accountant

Our client a large organisation in Surrey are recruiting a Qualified ACCA/ACA Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team as part of the commercial reporting and FP&A division.

The ideal candidate must be ACCA or ACA qualified with detailed knowledge of IFRS. You will also have no more than 5 years PQE and solid financial reporting experience within your career.

This role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller to be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting, taxation, VAT and regulatory returns.

Preparation of all statutory accounts and disclosures within the group including:
* consolidated accounts
* company accounts
* consolidated cashflow
* tax note in conjunction with tax advisors
* Filing of all accounts at Companies House within deadlines
* Responsible for accounting under IFRS
* Liaison with internal and external auditors
* Review of month end balance sheet and associated reconciliations
* Review and update of accounting policies and procedures
* Monitor of accounting and reporting developments for UK GAAP and IFRS
