FJR Finance are exclusively recruiting for a division of a fast growing well known brand in their search for a Management Accountant due to continued expansion to work out of their offices based in Chertsey.
The successful candidate will ideally be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified although consideration will be given to outstanding candidates who are towards the end of their studies. The suitable applicant will need to demonstrate that they can build strong relationships with operational contacts and prepare financial information in a method that they can easily interpret. The ability to challenge operational management will also be crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential as the role involves considerable analysis and any exposure to Oracle would be advantageous although not critical. A history of working to tight deadlines and prioritising workloads is a must for the business. The duties for the role itself will involve:-
Monthly management accounts preparation
Take the lead in preparing rolling forecasts
Provide financial analysis to key stakeholders when required
Balance sheet and cash management
Assist with the creation of annual budgets
Provide financial analysis in line with bids and tenders
Proactively highlight, investigate and attempt to resolve key financial issues e.g. cashflow, aged debt, P & L etc.
Financial project work when required
