Assistant Systems Accountant (BI)

Assistant Systems Accountant - BI - up to £40,000 Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, global NGO's in a key position to ensure the integrity of management information throughout the organisation. The Assistant Systems Accountant supports the Global Accounting Team in the preparation of consolidated financial information using the Infor BI Consolidation System.

The Assistant Systems Accountant reports to the Global Systems Accountant and will initially report the global consolidated financial statements.

Main Duties:

- Act as assistant administrator for Infor BI and related systems, ensuring the systems available meet business needs

- Design consolidated system tools and contribute to global report writing including systems training for end users; system design documents and user support

- Keep finance systems up to date as well as standard monthly routines such as monthly data imports, system changes and import of data from Sun Systems

- Systems Architect; ensuring system integrity and control

- Collaborate with stakeholders, users and IS infrastructure team as well as the software and licensing providers

Person Specification:

- Preferably ACA, ACCA or CPA

- Experience of Infor BI or other OLAP cube reporting tools

- Knowledge of SQL queries, developing stored procedures

- Experience of Sun Systems V5/V6, Q&A 10 and Professional Advantage products

- Experience of multi-business, multi-currency environments

- Experience of data migration, implementation and design of systems as well as control structures
