Job Title: Finance Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Based: King’s Cross, London

Salary: Up to £44,619.00 per annum

SHP, the charity for homeless and vulnerable people in London, was established by a group of homeless people, and began with one property in Pimlico in 1977. Today we provide a wide range of accommodation and support services to 6,500 people a year across many London boroughs. Our annual turnover is £18million.

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to lead our finance operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will lead and develop the Finance team. You will take responsibility for the provision of management accounts, liaison with our service delivery managers, ensuring our suppliers are paid on time, our treasury management operations, collecting our contract income and preparing our year-end accounts. In an increasingly diverse operating environment, you will take a lead in quality control and providing excellent customer service. You will be a professionally qualified accountant with experience of managing a small team, ideally within the charitable sector.
