A strategy has been developed by the recently appointed CEO and the Board that will power the company for the next 5 to 7 years. Better information, insights and decisions to support growth are key. 

Supply Chain and Business Development are important functions within the Spirax Sarco Group providing leadership on Global Supply Chain and Product Innovation Processes. Following   the recent board appointments of a Supply Chain Director and Business Development Director, a new key position has been created for a Senior Finance Partner to support both Executives in delivering their business critical strategy. Reporting to the Global Steam Finance Director, role content will be interesting and diverse and will include:  

• Provision of strategic financial support for the Supply Chain Director and the Business Development Director. 

• Provide financial leadership for major projects including sourcing, plant investment appraisals and strategic investments. 

• Drive financial and commercial awareness across the Supply Chain and New Product Development functions.

• Enhance Performance Reporting and management of the Business Planning process across Supply Chain and New Business Development. 

• Work closely with the Steam Finance Director on a variety of key projects across Group Finance. 

• Management and development of a small but high quality team. 

Suitable candidates will be graduate, qualified accountants with an impressive academic record. Strong financial and strategic analysis experience acquired in a complex multinational manufacturing business is important. Experience in driving performance improvement across the supply chain and providing financial support on new business development activity is highly desirable. To succeed in the role you will be a talented finance leader with drive, resilience and keen intellect. The ability to influence management across multicultural operations and the hunger and desire to effect real change is essential.
