Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for an accountant to work for a leading Independent College based in Thanet. Reporting to the College Bursar you take a leading role in the strategic financial management of the College in addition to the management of a small team. You will prepare all financial and year end accounts, lead the budgeting and forecasting process as well as ongoing five year business plans, oversee the payroll and day to day transactional processes and produce monthly management accounts.

Ideally you will have a solid understanding of the workings of a school finance function and or knowledge of preparing accounts under charity guidelines.
