FP&A Analyst

Blackwaters is recruiting for a qualified Group FP&A analyst for a global listed manufacturing/FMCG group based near Brighton.

This role reports to the Divisional Financial Controller and supports the Managing Director with FP&A analysis and decision support material.

The Role:

• Manage the annual forecasting process 
• Drive the budgeting process and create efficiencies within the reporting
• Review the current reporting metric and KPI's
• Consolidate and analyse period-end results (GAAP analysis and short/long range forecasting)
• Manage the consolidation process for the forecast submissions from business units.
• Compares performance with operating plans, standards and long-range goals, and reports and interprets the results of operations to all levels of management.
• Directs, reviews and appraises the performance of locations and provides the necessary coordination between location activities.
• Performs consolidation and analysis of period-end results including preparation of financial reports, gap analysis, short and long-range forecasting.Communicates results to senior division management, corporate management and external users when appropriate.
• Prepare a variety of quarterly and annual financial reports, such as insurance, tax.
• Prepare and implement Business Warehouse solutions enabling push button and real time access to reporting and data
• Identifying and promoting “Best Practice” across the operations.

The Candidate:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)

Experience of financial reporting, consolidation and business partnering

Ability to support director level stakeholders

Some exposure to acquisition modelling would be beneficial but not essential
