INTERIM Management Accountant

12 months Maternity Cover 

£31,000 - £35,750 per annum + benefits

An interim opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced accountant to join our established finance team. The successful candidate should be a strong team player and communicator, able to assume established management reporting responsibilities quickly and efficiently and be willing and able to learn and contribute to the process of technical accounting change that will be affecting the financial year end.

This role would suit a qualified accountant with the ability and desire to work within a socially responsible business environment, playing a part in making a positive difference by influencing change and improvement in their workplace whilst continuing to deliver high quality accounting services.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Finance & Resources your responsibilities will initially include the production of management account packs for board, executive team and managers, preparation of statutory accounts and management of capital assets, budgetary review and forecasting.  Minimum requirements include CCAB qualification, supervisory experience and strong Excel skills.

Previous experience of working in a housing, not-for-profit or charitable environment would be beneficial but not essential.
