Senior Group Accountant
My client, a market leading FMCG business based in Surrey is currently looking to recruit a Senior Group Accountant. The business is a truly global brand with operations in 43 different companies worldwide.

2:1 Degree Minimum
Responsibilities
- Establish appropriate implementation of IFRS developments and the maintenance and development of a full set of group-wide IFRS-compliant financial accounting policies and procedures.
- Research and make proposals as to where reporting developments and best practice reporting can be used to enhance the group's external reporting.
- Support the Head of Group Financial Accounting in providing briefing material to the Audit Committee on accounting developments.
- Provide relevant timely technical accounting updates to the group, including, where and when relevant, training.
- Work with the Head of Group Financial Accounting to define and improve the quality of the external reporting templates.
- Support the timely provision of US GAAP financial information to the group's major shareholder.
- Support the Financial Reporting Manager in the provision of US GAAP technical information
- Support and provide cover for the Financial Reporting Manager.
You must be ACA qualified with one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms and have outstanding communication skills.
