Interim Accountant - Maconomy

Our client, a Creative Agency, is looking for an Interim Accountant with experience working with the system Maconomy.

The client, based near Guildford, is about to embark on a supported implementation of Maconomy and need to bring in support from someone who understands the types of reports the system can deliver to finance. As the system is implemented, the Interim Accountant will be involved in the process of linking the system to finance i.e. testing it by running reports and ensuring the requirement from the FC (who is in situ) is delivered.

This is not a systems accounting role, nor is it a pure accounting role, but it needs someone who has used Maconomy regularly, understands its capabilities, and is a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA).

The location of the agency is outside Guildford, and not easily accessible on public transport, so this is likely a role for someone who can drive.

Initially a 3 month contract, there are possibilities of further work, or even a perm transfer to the Central London Group Head Office, once the Maconomy implementation is complete.
