An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work with this established and highly regarded Oxfordshire business. Renowned for their professionalism and friendly culture they continue to grow as an award winning family business.
Set in beautiful surroundings, you will need to take responsibility for all areas of finance as this will be a critical role in supporting the business.
Duties will include
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Credit Control
- Bank Accounts and company credit card reconciliation
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns
- Update fixed asset register and post fixed asset and depreciation journals
- Reporting as required
- Assist the FD in all areas of month end processing
- Monthly payroll processing to outsourced bureau
- Auto enrolment pension monthly processing
- To deal with customers, colleagues and visitors in a helpful and friendly way.
You will work closely with the FD and also have an administrator/data entry clerk to assist you. You will ideally be AAT qualified and have a strong background in finance with experience of Payroll and Excel. Organised and down to earth the role is based in a rural location in North Oxfordshire therefore transport is essential.
