Deputy Group Financial Controller is required for an international branded FTSE 100 Consumer Client based in London. Reporting directly into the CFO and team of c.50, this is an integral appointment as part of a broader transformation project across the Group. In this role will see you have ownership of the technical and transactional side of the group function . Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying process and controls improvements within the group’s financial reporting process
- Ensuring the development and maintenance of group processes and controls
- Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Managing Group consolidation process for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes
- Leading a systems implementation process
This ideal candidate will be technically strong with demonstrable multi-currency consolidation experience. You will be a proven manager with prior experience of mentoring and developing a team, with the credibility and gravitas to drive through change. You will have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and externally, with a forward looking and challenging mindset.
