Accounts Payable Manager - 12 month FTC

<p>Our client is an award winning company who are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to work within their busy finance team on a one year fixed term contract. This is an ideal opportunity to work for a company which is experiencing rapid growth and has a working environment which is second to none.</p> <p>Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable team. This will include the ongoing development of the team during a phase of rapid growth and to develop more effective control and compliance procedures through system and process improvements. You may also be expected to cover other duties within the Finance department in the event of any absences.</p> <p>To be successful, you will have a good working knowledge of systems and some managerial experience. You will also have a strong understanding of Purchase Ledger ‘best practice’&nbsp; and be able to demonstrate experience of initiating change and achieving positive outcomes through process re-engineering and or system implementations. A team player, you will have strong mentoring skills and the desire to learn and develop skills as required.
