A leading accountancy and tax practice situated in a beautiful location near Slough is looking for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their busy team.

This role will be responsible for undertaking audit and accounts duties for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, charities and pensions schemes. Specifically, you will plan and run statutory audits for clients and prepare the statutory accounts in accordance with auditing and accounting standards, Companies Act requirements and UK GAAP. Reporting to the Audit & Accounts Manager, you will also be expected to supervise and train junior staff and undertake other ad hoc assignments as required.

Ideally, you will be a fully-qualified ACA or ACCA with previous Practice experience within a multi-partner UK Practice. Our client will also consider a finalist, looking to gain the Practice experience needed to achieve full Accountant status. You must also be a consummate professional with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to explain technical issues in a clear and concise manner for the benefit of clients. All work must be completed to a high standard and within tight deadlines so the ability to prioritise is a must. A clean driving licence and access to a car are essential as much of the work will be undertaken at client premises.
