A Group Financial Controller is required for a rapidly growing international telecoms group based in London. In this high profile and highly visible role you will take ownership of a variety of aspects of financial and statutory accounting, consolidations, systems and group costing and will be tasked with driving improvements through them.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the maintenance of central Group costs and implementing robust controls over these, including monitoring and reporting on special project costs
- Assisting in the Group consolidation process for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes
- Ensuring that central Group costs are appropriately accounted for and controlled, including monitoring of special projects
- Providing support for the implementation of a group consolidation system and assisting with its maintenance once implemented
- Identifying process and controls improvements within the financial reporting process and then implementing the identified changes
The successful candidate will be a technically astute qualified accountant, who can demonstrate leadership at Board level. Prior experience of operating in a telecoms / technology / software businesses is highly desirable. You will have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and externally, with a proactive, forward looking and challenging mindset.
