INTERIM CENTRAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER

LOCATION: HULL

SALARY AND BENEFITS: To £55,000 + benefits - IMMEDIATE START


Edwards & Pearce is pleased to be recruiting as a preferred supplier for one of our most prestigious clients and one of Hull's most respected employers.

An upcoming period of maternity leave has created a position for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant to provide cover in a Financial Accounting Manager role. The position is envisaged to last for a minimum of 12 months and will require the management of a small team of accountants. First class communication, negotiation and team playing skills are required as is the ability to work to deadlines in line with IFRS.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

*The management and development of a team of 4 accountants
*Maintaining the general ledger, P & L and balance sheet integrity
*Observing the timely, accurate and controller month end close and reporting process
*Statutory reporting for the UK company
*Ad hoc reporting and accounting investigations, VAT submissions and Intrastat reporting
*The role will be the key point of contact within finance for colleagues in the wider business.
