An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Analyst to join our client, a multinational investment management based in London
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Analyst will include:
-Working with the Head of Thematic Monitoring to ensure on-going and proactive relevance of the monitoring framework and program
-Leading on the delivery of core components of the thematic monitoring framework, taking ownership for substantial sections of monitoring program, in particular aspects related to DC Pension Business, covering investment only business and administration.
-Preparation, delivery and write-up of regulatory monitoring reviews on a timely basis and interaction with key business stakeholders across the lifecycle of the review
-Presentation of findings and recommendations to senior management
-Proactive engagement of the business, and coordination with other control functions
-Development of periodic Board and Committee reporting
-Representing Regulatory Risk and Controls at internal meetings
-Supervision and coaching of junior resources in the team
The ideal Compliance Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Proven track record of executing deep dive regulatory or compliance reviews at a firm/Big 4 consultancy/regulator
-Previous experience of designing and implementing internal control or compliance monitoring frameworks
-Previous experience working for an asset manager preferred
-Compliance advisory or monitoring experience of DC Pension schemes preferred
-Up-to-date understanding and awareness of FCA requirements.
-Ability to communicate with and influence senior management decision making
-Excellent communication skills; proven experience in drafting high impact and high quality reports
-Previous experience in developing rigorous Board and committee reporting, and other relevant MI
-Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritise workloads
-Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
