My client is a high end food supplier to some of the top restaurants across the UK, and they are looking to take on a pro-active finance manager to further grow the business and help develop their already prestigious reputation. As part of a larger PE backed catering company, they have carved out a niche in the market, build a reputation for top quality produce sourced from all over the world, with a fantastic list of clients to match.

As part of their closely knit London office, the successful candidate would be reporting in to the divisional FD, and working closely alongside the general manager to help direct strategic growth and improve performance. Constantly seeking to question standing processes, and always looking to increase efficiency, they will be always looking for new and innovative ways to add value to the company. With a very sales focused environment in the office, there would be high levels of business partnering, with the successful candidate able to present data at all levels of the company in a meaningful and insightful manner, showing good commercial awareness.

Candidates should be qualified accountants, with good financial business partnering skills and strong commercial acumen. Coming from a strong academic background, they should be confident in financial analysis and challenging both the numbers and past practices. With demonstrable skills in stakeholder management, they will be a strong team leader who is capable of managing a small team, and keen to take full responsibility for the finances of the company.

This is a fantastic and challenging role, offering the right candidate the chance to hone their commercial acumen whilst directing the strategic growth of the company, and would suit a determined and hungry accountant, who is eager to take the next step up in their career.
