Commercial Finance Manager

The Devonshire group is the working name of the trusts, businesses and charities connected to the Duke of Devonshire, including Chatsworth and the estates in Yorkshire and Sussex.

A pro-active, commercially astute, finance manager is sought to join the finance team. The role is based at Chatsworth and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The role will provide financial support across the group businesses as required including visitor attractions, hotels, catering, retail and property.

You will work closely with all heads of department and play a pivotal role in driving the organisation forward. The role promises to provide variety and significant challenges but will also be rewarding in equal measure.

Previous experience of commercial management, process improvement, business and finance/information systems is essential. This is a full time position requiring some flexibility in working hours. The successful applicant is likely to be a qualified Accountant or at a finalist level of one of the recognised accountancy bodies.
