Senior Financial Accountant

Our client require a qualified Financial Accountant to undertake a 6-9 month interim role starting asap.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Management Team, the FA will be responsible for the preparation of all internal and external reporting including; monthly Balance Sheet, P&L and Cashflow statements, monthly management accounts and cost centre reports, providing variance analysis and commentary to be used by the board and MT.   

The role requires a strong technical accountant with up to date IFRS and advanced excel skills.  The FA has management responsibility for a team of 3 (1 qualified, 2 part qualified) and therefore to be considered you must have prior experience of having managed and developed a small team. 

Additionally the role will include business partnering with the head office including production of bespoke analysis and supporting bespoke requests for information as and when required, as well as ensuring financial controls are in place and that the team strive toward improving performance.
