Management Accountant

Advantage Resourcing are exclusively recruiting for an owner managed wholesale business based in Manchester. My client is looking for a Management Accountant, who is looking to further develop their career.

Reporting to the FC your role will involve:

* Full production of management accounts, including: balance sheet reconciliations; journal posting; management reporting; accruals and prepayments
* Assist the FC with year end close and liaise with external auditors
* Prepare the VAT returns
* Full stock management, including stock takes and weekly and monthly stock analysis
* Build rapport with the budget holders and hold monthly meetings to discuss budget
* Assist the FC with the budget setting process and cash forecasting

You need to have previously worked within a stock management environment, ideally from a wholesale business. Excellent communication skills are essential to work in this busy environment as you will be the link between the accounts the rest of the business. You will need to be confident to go and build relationships with the operation managers and senior management team, discussing the budget and any variances. This role would suit someone who is looking to further develop their career.

This role is paying between £22,000 - £32,000 dependant on your level of experience. Please apply with your CV straight away.
