Finance Business Partner

They are looking for a Finance Business Partner and would like to give this opportunity to someone who is currently working in the commercial world and wants to make the transition into the not for profit sector. The role reports to a Finance Manager, who themselves have a commercial background. They will guide you through the transition into being a fully-fledged Finance Business Partner in a large and complex finance department.

Additionally, while this organisation is charitable by nature, it is very commercially run and would give you future career options of whether to stay in the not for profit sector or continue a career in the commercial sector.

The Finance Business Partner is very much a business facing finance role. Responsibilities will include build rapport and challenge a range of senior staff; work closely with senior managers to assist in strategic decision making; produce annual budgets; maintain and improving the groups systems and taking on various projects. You will also; plan and deliver the month end process; provide regular forecasts; take responsibility for the annual production of income and expenditure and liaise with external auditors.

In short, this role covers elements of both financial and management accounting plus the exposure to senior non finance staff where you will be communicating financial information to non-financial people.
