Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner/Manager to compliment a strong finance business-partnering team, overseeing the finances for City & Guilds UK, the largest business unit at the City & Guilds Group.  Our core purpose is to enable people and organisations to develop their skills for personal and economic growth - and we have some of the most ambitious commercial goals you will find anywhere.  Like the British Cycling Team, we are looking for incremental gains day in day out, and you will thus need to have the energy, temperament and tenacity to make things happen every day at work.  

As an individual, you will be detail-orientated and fastidious about presentation, knowing that credibility is hard-earned and easily lost.  This will be tempered with a pragmatic approach to business, comfortable working in the “grey zone”, where answers are not obvious or clear-cut.  You will most likely be ACCA/CIMA qualified having built up a number of years of experience at the sharp end of a commercial business.  You will certainly be able to demonstrate significant value add to the roles you’ve done before. 

We're looking for someone who is confident challenging the business when needed and able to demonstrate commerciality.
