Excellent job opportunity for an Audit and Practice trained ACA/ACCA to join this commercial organisation in Camberley area.

Day to day responsibilities:
To provide monthly, quarterly and annual accounting governance and service activities for two business units.
Lead P/L and Balance Sheet reviews and approval of final group reporting.
Additional disclosure review and approval.
Review of provisions and impairments.
Reviews of customer credit ratings.
Liaison to maintain key control processes for the transactional accounting process.
Liaise with Division Finance teams to ensure that accounting and reporting is in compliance and that the financial statements are prepared accurately.
Prepare quarterly analytical reviews for Divisions and auditors.
Ensure that changes to IFRS and accounting guidelines are implemented by the businesses/legal entities in a timely manner.
Responsible for the formal approval and sign off of the monthly financial statements including P&L, B/S and CF.
To be the main point of contact for the quarterly and annual external audits. To co-ordinate and manage the audit process to ensure that all information is provided and that timelines are adhered to.
Review the business- related provisions and accruals raised by the Divisions
Review the impairment tests of tangible and intangible assets
Preparation of UK legal entities statutory accounts.
Responsible for the completion of SOX and internal control tests on behalf of allocated businesses


Experience/ Qualifications required
Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA
Strong knowledge of the financial service industry and leasing concepts.
Strong statutory account preparation experience.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS and SOX requirements.
Strong working knowledge of accounting practice and auditing experience.
IT literate, capable in Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP
Demonstrate potential for staff supervision / coaching.
