Financial Accountant

A leading international company has an immediate requirement for a qualified Financial Accountant (ACA or ACCA) to join a large finance team on a 6 month temporary basis, to complete the Group and Company statutory accounts under IFRS

You will take full responsibility for the preparation of Group and Company statutory accounts under IFRS and the preparation of information for the statutory accounts disclosure notes.

Key responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end IFRS statutory accounts for all Group companies along with associated disclosure requirements.
* Meet quarterly regulatory reporting obligations and keep up to date with changes in legislation.
* Assistance with the preparation and development of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
* Assist with month end process, inter-group reconciliations and prepare and review monthly accounting information.
* Ensure financial records are prepared and maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
* Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
* Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
* Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
* Liaison with auditors.

To apply for this role you must be hold a recognised accounting Qualification extensive recent working knowledge of preparing Statutory Accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP. You will have excellent technical accounting skills with a good understanding of Companies Act and statutory disclosure requirements.
