NationwideFinance Programme Delivery Manager​

Introduction

* Stress Testing is one of highest profile projects currently underway at Nationwide. This role is the 2nd in Charge to the Head of Department who is driving the project, we are therefore looking for someone who can help develop, plan, and deliver change in support of Nationwide's regulatory stress testing strategy.

Stress testing is a regulatory requirement at Nationwide and is also a key tool used by senior management to support decision making and helps keep our business safe and sustainable. We are evolving our Regulatory Stress Testing programme and need a Programme Delivery Manager to assist in planning, leading and managing the delivery of change within Finance and Risk and across the rest of the business.

Who we're looking for

We're not looking for an expert in managing a stress testing project, we can teach that! But, we are keen to find someone who knows how to manage large projects. We're especially keen to hear from those who have managed finance related projects and/or have worked in high pressure and high profile environments. More specifically, those with experience of managing projects within Regulatory Reporting, Capital Management or Financial Reporting are encouraged to apply.

You'll need to:
* Be experienced in project and programme management, with a recognised qualification and a strong track record of successfully delivering change in business, finance and risk functions
* Have experience of delivering cultural and behavioural change within complex organisations to achieve business benefits
* Have designed, built and operated change management practices in a variety of organisations and/or industries, including financial services

* Be capable of building and instilling change management disciplines and capability within teams
* Have led teams and managed stakeholders, demonstrating gravitas and credibility when working with and influencing senior management


What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Stress Testing , you will be responsible for:
* Planning and managing change in Nationwide's on-going Stress Testing programme, raising issues and identifying solutions
* Managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels from across the business
* Manage delivery teams from around the business and assist them in setting and then delivering against agreed roadmap
* Manage and report programme progress, escalating decision as required, identifying and managing risk and issues

* Tracking risks, actions, dependencies and regularly reporting progress to steering committees and senior management

You'll manage a team, and need to build a strong network with teams from the Finance and Risk to ensure success and buy-in.
