Our reputable Surrey based client seeks a Reporting Accountant to join their growing insurance business. To be considered for this role you should be at least a part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with exceptional communication skills and hands on experience of a similar role.
Duties will include:
• Preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements, including full supporting documentation, audit files and liaison with external auditors
• Prepare monthly cash pack
• Prepare statutory, PRA and IPT returns
• Prepare forecasts, plans and management information
• Analyse results and report
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Develop procedures, controls and reporting to improve reporting quality
• Assist in the production of financial reports as necessary, supporting the Group
• Ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller
You must have:
• Hold or be studying for an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience of working within the Insurance or Financial Services sector
• PRA and statutory experience
