Finance Director

Our client, a dynamic multi-site business with exciting growth plans and a strong balance sheet, is looking to recruit a high calibre Finance Director. Reporting to the CEO as part of the senior leadership team, you will be expected to manage all aspects of finance including third party relationships and the role will involve significant customer contact. You will also have management responsibility for HR, legal contracts and procurement.

Key responsibilities include: Full responsibility for the management of the finance function and all financial matters, which will require a hands on approach and management of HR, legal contracts and procurement functions; Provision of commercial management information to influence and drive decision making at board level, including tight cash flow management and advising the leadership team on risk and opportunity as the business expands; Management of key relationships within the company including external parties and involvement with a number of key customers; Delivery of detailed business plans to ensure growth targets are met in line with clear strategic goals.

To apply, you must be a qualified accountant with a proven track record as a Finance Director or a fast track Financial Controller. You are likely to have experience of working for a multi-site business in the retail or leisure sector. You must be capable of motivating and developing finance teams and prepared to be detail focussed whilst ensuring medium term objectives are achieved. You will need to build good relationships with a tight knit leadership team in a role that requires a very strong work ethic and a wide ranging skillset.
