Company Accountant with ACCA, ACA or CIMA

IMPRIMATUR is a well-established language services company working with blue-chip clients. We are looking for a sole charge accountant to become our Financial Controller and manage all aspects of Finance and Purchasing.

Reporting regularly to and working closely with our hard-working and focused Managing Director, you will need to be a decisive, confident and highly motivated individual who can think on their feet.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Set, agree and monitor budgets and forecasts
• Produce accounts to trial balance
• Meet government requirements relating to Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT and RTI
• Ensure timely and accurate salary and supplier payments
• Manage banking activity and reconciliations
• Benchmark foreign exchange rates and providers
• Work with Systems Manager to develop and manage company finance and payroll systems and software
• Manage the Director’s personal tax as required.

You will be highly organised and extremely computer literate with strong numeracy, verbal and administrative skills and have excellent attention to detail.

You will be educated to graduate level with an ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification.
