Qualifications Required
- Minimum Intermediate SAP ability or having the ability to up skill to use SAP within 1 month

Operational Responsibilities
- Accounting for Group reorganizations, plus new mergers, acquisitions and group equity investments for 10 head office entities including GSK plc
- Manage the month end close for 10 head office entities based in UK and US, including TB and GL reconciliation reviews
- Manage the Unison reporting for c90 entities according to the corporate reporting timetable, ensuring a high level of accuracy
- Key contact for National Statistics reporting for 10 UK & US entities
- Liaise with external auditors and deliver a clean audit for 10 head office entities in the UK & US
- Ensure SOX controls are compliant and maintain evidence
- Perform CERPS controls applicable to UK entities
- Provide timely, accurate and compliant record to report services in accordance with UK and IFRS GAAPs
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Research and analyze any unmatched and / or out of balance entries
• Prepare, document & manage all month end control processes
• Support period end financial close activities and ensure an efficient and effective close is performed including preparing judgment based accruals where required
• Work closely with the outsource provider to ensure activities carried out are correct and assist in resolving queries or issues with the market
• Work and build good relationships with local market Finance Directors, outsource providers and external authorities where relevant
• Prepare outside auditor schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements.
• Prepare or assist in preparation of financial information to support business unit needs/external reporting requirements
• Meet service level agreements and performance targets related to the R2R (record to report) processes
Customer Relationship Responsibilities
- Manage Genpact team of c10 members to ensure SLAs are met
- Serves as the initial point of contact for market financial reporting queries relating to head office entities
- Act as a key point of contact across the wider GSK business relating to Unison reporting and R2R functions
