Accountant - Chartered Accountancy Firm

Overview        

Exciting opportunity for an ATT qualified accountant to join an established Chartered Accountancy firm and study towards ACCA or ACA or for a ACCA or ACA Part qualified or recently qualified Accountant to develop their career with a diverse high profile client base.

About you

You will be an AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant or an active ACA/ACCA studier experience gained in an accounts team of an Independent or Mid- Tier Chartered Accountancy firm.

You will be seeking to develop your career in a diverse role which includes managing your own portfolio.

You will have experience of client and team liaison and ideally som exposure to training clients staff.

There is the potential for flexible or part-time working. 

About The Role

Based in the modern offices of this established firm this role entails the preparation and of statutory and management accounts for a range of clients including OMB’s, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

You will liaise directly with a portfolio of clients and work closely with the departments Managers and Director to ensure junior team members are supported.

Duties include:
* Preparation of financial statements for companies subject to audit, liaising with the audit team as required.
* Preparation of unincorporated and small incorporated businesses management and year end accounts.
* Maintain financial records and accounts to the required standard.
* To assist on tax work, taxation computations and returns.
* Completion of quarterly VAT returns.
* Project progression as required and control of own case load.
