Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a prestigious arts and heritage charity based in Surrey. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a friendly and results focused team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the finance manager you will be assisting with the management accounts for the charity, applicants with experience specific to this are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities will be to produce and analyse monthly management information. You will be responsible for delivering this to the business, ensuring this is done in an effective way to the budget holders with which you work. You will be participating in the monthly management accounts and producing budget holder reports. It is imperative that you have experience in delivering financial information to non-finance staff and feel confident in doing so.

The client is looking for an engaging and proactive candidate who can challenge processes and suggest improvements where they may be needed, at times you may be required to assist with the financial accounts, participating in Bank reconciliations and year end tasks so experience in this is also desirable.
The ideal candidate will be part qualified, and preferably studying towards a CIMA qualification. You will have experience in a management accounting position for at least 2 years and be able to work
independently.

Experience in the charity sector is desirable but by no means necessary. Candidates who have worked in a management accounting role within a large charity are encouraged to apply to gain experience in an organisation who really invest in and develop their staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant looking for study support in a recognisable name within the charity sector.
