Interim Financial Accountant

My Client, a large Blue-Chip organisation is looking to engage a talented Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in this complex and diverse multi-national.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright, technically minded individual to have a significant impact helping to shape procedures for accounting transactions.

This varied role will offer the chance to work on various projects in an ad-hoc manner. The Financial Accountant's primary responsibilities will be day to day transactional accounts, billing calculations and reconciliations of sales and invoices. You will liaise with internal auditors at month end, and working closely with the Finance Analyst, you will review the monthly reporting process ensuring compliance with internal controls.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have strong communication skills as you will liaise with stakeholders across the business, including other UK offices. Time management skills and a positive, pro-active attitude are a must, as you will be able to seek out and implement ideas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) Accountant with the desire to work in a dynamic, fast- paced environment. Candidates with a working knowledge of SAP and COGNOS will be at a considerable advantage.

Occasional travel to other UK offices will be required.
