A CFO is required for a rapidly growing online retail business based in London. The business has a clear and aggressive strategy for its growth going forward, and is looking to appoint a strong financial leader to work with the senior stakeholders to aide in the strategic growth of the organisation.
Key deliverables will include:
• Providing strategic and operational leadership for the entire finance function
• Working as a business partner to the CEO and other board members, delivering clear financial advice on new business initiatives
• Contributing to the commercial function by developing an effective business model
• Preparing a financial strategy which will lead the business to new investment from a third party
• Providing high quality financial and management reports, strong cash and financial controls and robust commercial financial planning
• Ad hoc projects
The successful candidate will be a “hands-on” qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of managing an entire finance function, business partnering senior leaders and developing robust business models. Experience of working in an online environment is advantageous but not essential. You will have a strong commercial acumen, with prior experience of playing a lead role in leading business growth.
