We're seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide proactive finance leadership to multiple stakeholders support the Business Services senior management team, with a focus on continuous improvement

About the role

You'll be responsible for the planning of a 5 year business plan within the area including Executive and Board reports. You'll plan, control, manage and deliver forecast & budget process and outputs as well as control the detailed management of Business Services forecast and flash process.

The Finance Business Partner will provide commercial finance and performance and planning support to Managing Director and Head of Finance & Performance for Business Services.

You'll design and develop planning and reporting tools to maintain and enhance focus on underlying drivers, not simply financial outcomes as well as provide an essential Linkage between the relevant business unit finance and planning teams and the central functions within Severn Trent Centre.

About you

You'll have a strong track record of taking the lead in developing and delivering world class financial and performance, with strong project management skills.

We're seeking a qualified accountant with a strong track record of taking the lead in developing and delivering world class financial and performance insights and reporting in a large organisation.

You will have substantive commercial and finance experience with significant operational exposure with experience of identifying and developing new commercial opportunities through a variety of investment structures and bring them into daily operation.
