Solvency II Pillar 3 Business Analyst

A global underwriter operating within the London market requires a Qualified Accountant to join their finance team as a Solvency II Pillar 3 Business Analyst. The role will involve detailed data analysis and definition of system and business process requirements for Pillar 3 regulatory reporting. Specific responsibilities will include a root cause analysis of data gaps, as well as articulating the underlying issues into formal remediation requirements and liaising with key stakeholders. Additional responsibilities will include assessing the quality of data to be used for Pillar 3 reporting, defining validation rules for the target state, and mapping the target business processes to form the Solvency II reporting calendar. Successful applicants will have extensive experience in defining of Pillar 3 data, system and process requirements, ideally within the Lloyd’s market. Experience in Business Process mapping is ideal, as is proficiency in using Microsoft Visio.
