JV Project Accountant

My client is a residential development business who is looking to recruit a Joint Venture Project Accountant to be a critical business partner to joint venture management, providing an excellent accounting and reporting service to stakeholders. You will provide the project with insight into performance and continuously challenge to ensure the joint venture delivers in line with shareholder expectations.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking commercial analysis of key financial data to influence decision making in the joint venture

• Manage financial modelling of joint venture projects, including updating costs and value each month

• Pro-actively identify opportunities to enhance return on capital employed and gross margin

• Monitor non-construction costs versus budget to identify cost-saving opportunities

• Ensure timely submission of project appraisals to meet Divisional and Group reporting requirements

• Prepare Board reporting and reports to the Corporate Management Committee each month to a high standard

• Ensure financial controls are in place at an appropriate level within the joint venture and that these are adhered to

• Undertakes ad hoc analysis for the joint venture management team as required

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director you will be a qualified accountant with experience of operating within a joint venture environment.
