Robertson Bell finance have an urgent requirement for an interim Capital Accountant/ Reconciliations specialist to join a large housing association based in Reading, this is an exciting time to join the organisation as they have recently gone through a merger and will have direct involvement with it. The role will last a minimum of three months.

Main responsibilities;
*Recently a new fixed asset register was implemented, due to go live in the next month and you will be responsible for improving and creating new reconciliations processes
*Assisting with yearend and related audit working papers
*Maintenance of new fixed asset register for their large property stock including reconciliations
*Assist in the preparation of the Fixed Asset note in the statutory accounts format and other property and grant related notes to the financial statements. Assistance with the implementation of FRS102.
*Monthly processing of all property transactions including additions, disposals, sales, grant and depreciation calculation.
*Maintain fixed asset register and ensure it is updated on a regular basis
*Preparation of monthly management reports on fixed assets movements including commentary and analytical review of variances to budget and forecast.

What is important is having experience in; reconciliations; analysing large data; having some form of system implementation experience and being able to problem solve. The capital accounting side is something you can be trained in and enhance your CV with.
