Financial Accountant

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant role for a fast-growth Fashion Retail business based in London. The business has recently secured increased investment resulting in further growth both in the UK and overseas. As a result of this continued growth they are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to work within their London based Head office function. As Financial Accountant the role will ensure that compliance regulations are met across all international territories, including accounting, audit requirements and tax. The Financial Accountant will co-ordinate accounting advice in respect of new international territories to support roll-out decisions and ensure appropriate structuring. As Financial Accountant the role will prepare VAT returns for international companies whilst assisting the Finance Manager with the establishment of new territories, including set up of bank accounts, legal obligations and compliance. They will provide ongoing oversight of reporting and other compliance obligations. The Financial Accountant will assist with statutory reporting during the annual audit as well as with the preparation of tax packs. They will oversee intercompany recharges and conduct various month end tasks when needed. The successful candidate will be ACCA / CIMA Newly Qualified although finalists will be considered.
