European logistics provider are highly experienced in their niche field of operations, and their UK division is growing well in terms of revenue and profit. They currently have an opportunity for an ambitious Regional Finance Manager to join them in their Warwickshire head office. In this key role, you will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for the finances of the UK and Ireland operation (turnover approximately £20m).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead and motivate the UK and Ireland finance team (4 staff), ensuring clear responsibilities and priorities
- Execute and manage the financial control in line with group policies and in coordination with the Group CFO
- Ensure the reporting, planning and budgeting is timely and accurate
- Business partnering the management team to help understand and manage their commercial priorities
- Support and advice management on HR procedures, reporting and administration
Candidate profile:
- Accountancy qualification (or equivalent degree)
- Experience within a matrix and/or international environment
- Broad financial experience and leadership qualities
- Previous or current management skills in a Finance role
- Character with high potential and possessing outstanding communication skills
