We have big ambitions for our work and we have set ourselves the strategic goal of becoming a World Class Organisation, recognising the importance of robust management reporting and analysis to provide the necessary insight for key decisions, strong performance management and effective financial planning. During 2014, the BHF implemented a new finance accounting and reporting system (Sun 6 based ledgers, with an Infor BI reporting suite). Developing a complementary budgeting and planning system is now a key priority for the year ahead.

The BI Reporting Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the BHF makes best use of its investment in the BI reporting suite, requiring significant liaison across the organisation. The team works very closely with Finance Business Partners and Finance Analysts for each main area of the business as well as the Financial Processing and Financial Control teams. 

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of management accounting/reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis. You will be either CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant, and will be seen as the expert Infor BI and Champion it within the organisation. You will also deliver improvements to reporting suite, including design and testing of new BI reports and maintenance of all current Infor BI report.
