As part of a rapidly growing business, InVentiv Health is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its European Finance team to manage EMEA/APAC tax compliance, reporting and advisory issues, supporting, and closely coordinating with the US Tax Department and the Senior International Tax Manager located there. Based in Maidenhead in the UK, we are looking for an ACA or CTA qualified candidate.
Responsibilities will include:
-Provide oversight and support to the local country Clinical BU accounting managers (all currently located in Maidenhead), who manage processes and procedures in relation to tax compliance and tax reporting in all EMEA/APAC jurisdictions (currently 74 entities in 38 countries), outsourced to local accounting firms.
-Where country tax groups exist that include members from different BUs, coordinate the group tax compliance.
-Prepare and file UK tax return for the Clinical BU, expanding eventually to preparation of the tax returns for the entire UK group. Preparation of the UK tax provision for the US GAAP financial statements.
-Responsible for adherence of all legal entities to the company’s transfer pricing model in coordination with Financial Controllers and the US Tax Department.
-Review quarterly results to identify proper distribution of revenues and costs
-Review and update transfer pricing agreements as needed
-Assist with the development of a legal entity forecasting model for the Clinical BU
-Assist in the establishment of a new process for the monthly charge-out and annual true-up of a new process for the monthly charge- out and annual true- up of global SG&A costs, to the legal entities who are the beneficiaries of such activities.
-Provide client and vendor contracting support from a tax perspective, particularly as it relates to VAT.
-Manage annual cross-border dividend planning in coordination with Treasury.
-Stay abreast of opportunities for additional tax credits and incentives, particularly for Clinical BU
-Assist with corporate tax planning initiatives.
-Deal with any tax related queries that may arise and to support ad-hoc projects as and when required.
