Management Accountant - Children's Charity - £33-37k

A leading Children's Charity is seeking a seasoned Not for Profit Management Accountant for a highly rewarding and challenging role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management reports and budgeting & forecasting. The role will also involve some project and grant accounting, year-end accounts and assisting with all VAT related activity.

Management Accountant main duties will include;

-Preparing accurate and timely Management Accounts, budgets and forecasts
-Assisting with year-end, audit and reporting
-Preparing high quality business analysis for grant tenders
-Providing detailed support to line managers and country finance officers within the charity

Management Accountant will ideally have;

-Full CCAB or CIMA qualification
-A detailed understanding of charity finance
-A detailed understanding of charity SORP
-Strong Excel skills and competency in a range of accounting software packages, ideally Open Accounts
-Recent knowledge of charity tax rules and VAT
