Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Finance Assistant for a small naval charity in London. The role is likely to last for around 6 months with the potential to go permanent.
The main aspects of the role will be performing payment runs, uploading invoices on the system, petty cash reconciliation, BACS runs, monthly accruals and prepayments, monthly bank reconciliations, raising invoices, recording receipts and report reconciliation. This role will also assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, yearend accounts and payroll.
The right person for this role will need to have all the above skills. Charity experienced is desired but by no means essential. This role is due to last for 6 months and a permanent person will be recruited, if you prove yourself then there is the potential to go permanent. You will need to be on a one week notice period at the most as there needs to be time for a hand over. This role reports in to the Head of Finance who is keen to develop and train a member of staff. You will be guaranteed an interview if you have previously been in the navy/marines and have the core skills above.
